Definitions

  • Environmentally-Preferred Products or EPP's: Products or services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared to competing products or services.
  • Sustainable Practices: Practices that meet the need of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

  • Engage: Engage with supplies to promote the procurement of EPP's and explore opportunities for sustainability.

Sustainable Practices

  • Energy Conservation: Implement energy-saving practices and consider renewable energy sources.
  • Water Conservation: Promote water-saving practices and technologies.
